I'm sure a lot of you have started to (or, about to) enjoy your year end vacation (and doing your runs wherever you are!). With 2008 coming to a close and curtains of Year 2009 all set to welcome, many of us would've started to pen down those (forbidden!?!) resolutions!! For all those budding runners and seasoned marathoners, here is an opportunity to start the year 2009 on a very high note...
Chennai Runners is happy to kick-start year 2009 with a first of its kind Running Clinic! Mark your calendars for the 10th of January 2009 when we will meet at Elliots Beach (near the police outpost in the center of the beach) to attend the 1st Running Clinic. BTW, you should be able to spot our banner at Elliots Beach on this day! Here are the details...

We have Dr.Hamsraj from Physio Care addressing the runners on a range of topics that will essentially cover topics related to fitness, injuries & treatment, posture. That's not all! We will also have sessions on "Why I Run?" and "Running/Marathon Experiences" followed by a "Open House" for answering any questions you may have related to running!!
This is going to be a wonderful networking opportunity for all of us....DON'T MISS THIS!!. Do feel free to tag along anyone interested in running!

I am not a runner/athlete. I used to be back in school days and the very thought of getting back to running excites me! I have just commenced my journey of fitness once again and I dream to take part in a marathon soon. Is this group for me? I am beginner with loads of determination. I would try to make it to this event so as to get to know you all.
