By the time we would have finished our weekly long run tomorrow, some of the Chennai Runners would be just warming up. They are off to Mumbai chasing their dreams. The largest contingent from Chennai Runners is off to Mumbai to participate in the Standard Charted Mumbai Marathon. I wish them all the very best in endeavor and may their dreams come true.

A side note: Mumbai Marathon seems to be getting better year after year. Though I still don't like the start time of the full marathon which is later than the half marathon. I am serioiusly thinking of participating in the full marathon next year.

just saw the mumbai marathon on t.v, its like a carnival, like a mela, such a difference from the shots of the marathons in New York etc-people seem to be actually enjoying themselves, tho i am sure the marathon protocols are not being followed. it will be interesting to read the input of the chennai runners who participated in the Mumbai Marathon.
I have started preparing to run the Nike Marathon in October'08 but would love to participate in the Mumbai m.
